As 6 Maquis Starships traveled through the Asteroid Belt and Oort Cloud within the Milkyway Galaxy on their way to Earth, their Warp Drive affected the path of the Oort Cloud and with it intermingling with the Asteroid Belt it has caused problems directing Asteroids towards Earth, 2 years after they arrived on Earth several Asteroids have come to Earth and Silvery-white threads have been dropped on Earth, acting a lot like the Thread the Riders had fought on Pern. They chose to name it Score and when it fell it was called Scorefall.
The Dragons and the Riders of Far Point Weyr having never forgotten their Threadfall training rose up to meet this new threat and protect their new home; they had found 2 new stones on Earth that helped them breathe fire; they started calling the new stuff Score and when it fell it was Scorefall.
The Dragons of Far Point Weyr remembering their training from Pern of fighting Thread have begun new training to fight what has been called Score, preparing as they would for Threadfall, the Queens are now clutching more eggs as they did when Pass was close. Two large clutches lay on the sands as the Riders scramble to find candidates to ride the new Generation of Dragons, Wesley and Maverick prepare to train the next generation as the Scorefall nears their new world. The riders who came to the new world train hard every day preparing to fight their new enemy as they fought their old one.
