Expanded Kathryn stands at 5 feet 6 inches tall with an athletic build and muscles because of being a Dragonrider. Her face is heart-shaped with high cheekbones, her eyebrows arch slightly; she has almond-shaped chocolate brown eyes, a medium-sized upturned nose and small; but full lips. She has long platinum blonde hair that falls to the floor, but she keeps it braided all the time, and pins it against her head when wearing her riding helmet. She is usually seen wearing red clothing or Harper Blue clothing

Expanded Kathryn is a strong willed woman, who knows how to lead and how to follow. She can be strong-headed at times. She has a caring side which not too many see at times.
History: Kathryn was born 25 turns ago on Pern the oldest of a set of twins 5 minutes before her twin brother Wesley was born. They were born as the only children of a Silver Rider and a Bronze Rider.
They grew up in Star Sun Weyr meeting Akadeanna and Skylar when they were 5 turns old and the two started learning from them; they also started learning from the Weyr Harpers their basic education like most Weyrbrats received.
When they were old enough both started standing for clutches hoping to impress and they started studying more in-depth on becoming Harpers. When they were 15 turns old they both stood for another Dragon clutch that held a Gold it was of a Junior Weyrwoman of their home Weyr, neither expected to impress, however when the Gold hatched she was finickle checking among all the female Candidates, she checked Kathryn last of the females, but finding that the Silver still on the sands was for the young woman she snorted and walked to check the boy standing next to her and impressed Wesley making him the first male Gold Rider.
After he impressed Rinth the Silver moved and she went right to Kathryn and dubbed herself Silvith and the twins walked their Dragons off the Hatching Sands and fed them.
Weyrling Training was very harsh on the twins, but they worked hard together and together they went to their Mother to learn about being Queenriders. They passed training with high marks; neither earning better than the other.
The two listened as Akadeanna spoke with Varin and Maverick about leaving for Earth and the two were willing as no one wanted them except their home Weyr, but even there things were bad; so they boarded the Maquis Flagship heading for Earth; but surprisingly their mother and Father joined them on the ship to Earth.
On Earth Rinth rose not long after the Weyr was finished after Oreth did and now the two female Dragons have clutches on the sands, Kathryn though fears the day when her own Silver rises for her first mating flight and she worries as well as Scorefall looms.
