Varin stands at 6 feet 2 inches tall and has shoulder-length black hair that has blue and red streaks in it; he has round shaped midnight blue eyes a large nose that seems to have been broken at least twice, and large full lips. He is quite muscular from working with Oreth so long.
He usually is seen wearing clothing that is the color of his hair black with red and blue streaks, not mattering if it is his riding leathers or his regular clothes they are the same colors and Oreth’s riding gear is the same colors.

Varin is a very strong leader, though he is not cruel or mean, he is a very kind-hearted leader listening to everyone’s problems, many times putting the needs of the others ahead of his own needs. One of his famous phrases is Freedom Is The Right Of All Sentient Beings. He is fiercely protective over everyone, but more so to Akadeanna. He is always hunting for peace.
History: Varin was born on Cybertron; 4 years after his older brothers were born; but he wasn’t born a Human he was born a Sparkling with the name of Orion Pax, he grew up in Iacon City not remembering his past he started working in the Hall Of Records as an archivist under the great Alpha Trion; however then one day he was called to the Chamber of the Primes and of the Seekers; where a large bi-colored Seeker waited for him and his younger brother Thrust.
That day he became a Prime, and changed his name to Optimus Prime, taking up the Matrix Of Leadership and that day his memories of the fight with Unicron returned and he took up his Knight Of Cybertron Sword. He learned that the young Seeker was actually from the future and that he was her Guardian in her human form; at her request 6 months after becoming a Prime he joined his brothers on Earth and was there when Akadeanna came to Earth his Human as she was named.
He helped her grow into a confident young Egyptian woman and was overjoyed that 5 days after she turned 6 years old her Seeker form came out and it was the same Seeker he had seen 3 months before she was born; he watched Flowerdancer become a powerful Seeker and keeping a promise he made to her older form stood behind her as when she was 18 she became Flowerdancer Prime.
He watched as she and Skyfire became involved approving the pairing. He worried about her the night when she was 42 that she and Skylar as Skyfire was known as in his Human form, went out for a date and they didn’t return; he found out that Akadeanna was attacked and everyone thought she was dead, not knowing that Skyfire had taken her unconscious form to Cybertron.
When the 4th fairy cycle came around he and his Autobot family fled to Pern as did Stardancer, Stargazer and their Autobot family. It was there he learned the truth of what happened to Akadeanna and Skylar finding them alive on Pern.
He watched as the new mutation Dragons hatched and he was shocked when a female Galaxy Dragon named Oreth chose him at his 5th standing and Maverick also impressed a Moissanite Dragon named Osyth at the same clutch.
They passed Weyrling Training with top marks and when Oreth rose for her maiden flight it was Osyth who caught her, the two men became Weyrmates rekindling their old love from the time when they had fought Unicron together. Later that year after Oreth’s clutch hatched and impressed they stood before Akadeanna and married.
Things started getting rough with the hide-bound people who didn’t care for those like him and Maverick who were mutation riders and they weren’t accepted at any Weyr nor would any Weyr’s give them land to make their own Weyr.
Varin again turned to his friend Akadeanna asking what they should do and the Egyptian woman said it was time to go home to Earth, so they gathered all the mutation riders who were rejected as the Egyptian woman contacted her twin brother Chakotay, he helped them board 6 Maquis Ships including the flagship itself, Varin, Oreth, Maverick, and Osyth boarding the Flagship itself.
6 hours after leaving Pern at the ships maximum warp they arrived at Earth and they settled down in a large area of Miami Florida and with the help of the Maquis built Miami Weyr, Akadeanna rode with him on Oreth as he and Maverick went to speak to the leaders about searching candidates on Earth getting permission; Akadeanna though being assigned a liaison between the people of Earth and the new Pernese neighbors.
Not long after that Oreth rose again and Osyth caught her again and now her clutch lays on the sand mixed with Rinth’s clutch waiting for the candidates to arrive as Scorefall looms over Earth.
